Merry Christmas! Just checking in to give you a heads up on the new site. Today I figured out the encoder. All I can say is "Wow." The new video format options will be:
Full Movies Downloadable 1500k and 3000k wmv, mp4, and mov. For mobile: mp4 320, and 3GP 352x288. (all formats also available in 3 minute clips)
Full Movie Streaming: All the above plus 1500k/3000k flash; (all formats also available in 3 minute clips)
Photos (viewable in adjustable slide shows and downloadable zips) 1024, 1280, 1600
Tons of screen caps available in adjustable slide shows.
All files have to be transfered to a new directory and encoded. This is going to be very time consuming. We are transfering the newest video first. Next week I will allow members and 30-day subscribers to access both the current site and the new site so you can get a taste of what's to come and share comments if you'd like. By then the blog/news section will be active and the comments for video and pics.
It will be far from complete but I think you will love what you see. Have a wonderful Christmas.

New website format coming soon! My attempt to convert wmv to mp4 has been frustrating. I am not happy with the quality and it is taking too long to complete. I have decided to move this website into a professional CMS program that offers so many features this site does not currently offer. Among them are multiple video formats, multiple pic formats, zip files, auto scheduling of updates and callenders, mobile formats, customer rating systems, message board/blog, and much more. You will be able to view on line or download the videos and pics in multiple formats and in full movie or clips.
This is a highly robust CMS program used by many of the largest sites on the web. I tried it a couple years ago but it was too complicated for me at that time. I think I can handle it now that I have more experience with website building and programming. We will try to have it up by the start of 2012 but it may take a little longer depending on the learning curve of the program.

The software installation for the new CMS site is in operation. It takes 3-5 business days to complete so should be done by Friday or Saturday. During the installation I am uploading only this text file so as not to interfere with the installation on the server. If all goes well, new video update will follow Friday or early Saturday.
The completion of this installation does not mean the new site will upload. It means the software installation will be complete so we can begin the transfer of files into the new program.
